Before you start: what to have readyThe booking process on AirfinnsAfter booking: PNR, e-ticket and check-inID rules for US travellersChanging or cancelling a flight ticketWho we areHow the booking process worksImportant informationFAQsBooking a flight ticket involves five things: choosing a fare, entering each traveller's name exactly as on their ID, paying the itemised total, receiving a booking reference (PNR) and an e-ticket number, and checking in with the airline before your flight. Airfinns handles the first four and guides you through the fifth.

- Full legal names of every traveller, exactly as on the ID they will use
- Dates of birth and gender as shown on ID
- Passport number, nationality and expiry for international trips (can be added later)
- Known Traveler Number (TSA PreCheck / Global Entry) and Redress Number if you have them
- Frequent flyer numbers
- A card in the payer's name and a contact email and mobile number that will be reachable while travelling

After booking: PNR, e-ticket and check-in
| Item | What it is | Where you use it |
|---|---|---|
| Airfinns reference | Our booking ID (starts with AF) | When you contact Airfinns |
| Airline PNR | Six-character airline booking reference | Airline website, app and check-in |
| E-ticket number | 13-digit number per traveller | Refunds, credits, some airport desks |
Most airlines open online check-in 24 hours before departure; some open it 48 hours before for international flights. Check in on the airline's website or app with the airline PNR and last name. If the airline cannot find the booking, call us — newly issued tickets can take a short time to appear in airline apps.

ID rules for US travellers
Domestic flights: since May 7, 2025, adults need a REAL ID-compliant license (marked with a star) or another TSA-accepted ID, such as a US passport or passport card. Children under 18 travelling with an adult in the US do not need to show ID to the TSA, though airlines may ask for proof of age for infants.
International flights: a valid passport for every traveller, including infants, and any visa or travel authorisation the destination requires. Check validity rules — many countries require six months' validity beyond your stay.
Changing or cancelling a flight ticket
Changes and cancellations are governed by the airline's fare rules. On most US carriers, Main Cabin and higher tickets can be changed without a change fee, paying only any fare difference; Basic Economy usually cannot be changed. International tickets often carry a change fee.
Airfinns charges an agent service fee of $50–$250 per traveller for voluntary changes and $50–$250 per traveller for voluntary cancellations, depending on the ticket, in addition to any airline charges. We always state the total cost of a change before making it. Airline-initiated schedule changes and cancellations carry no Airfinns fee. Read our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy for full details.
Who we are
Airfinns (airfinns.com) is an independent online travel agency owned and operated by VJS Travel LLC. We provide flight booking services through two channels: a self-service website and an assisted booking desk by phone.
We are not an airline. We do not own or operate flights and we have no affiliation with any airline. Our role is to search the fares airlines make available to travel agencies, help you choose, and process the booking and any later changes on your behalf.
Our Terms, Privacy, Refund, Cancellation and Service Fee policies are linked from every page, so the basis on which we operate can be read in full before anything is booked. Whether you book online or by phone, payment is taken only on our own secure systems, and every ticket comes with an airline booking reference you can verify directly with the airline.
